Live 7.03 XP

VSTis with their own internal sequencers fall out of time with abletons clock.


Can be reproduced every time, just waggle ableton's tempo up and down a bit. The vstis all fall out of sync by different amounts.

tested with: nepheton, phoscyon, abl2, silverbox, sylenth, drumazon

anyone else with this problem?

yes, had the same problem. im on a mac running 7.0.3, for once sync is ok with my hardware, but i got weird out-of-sync issues with plugins. (Phoscyon and stylus rmx). I turned of delay compensation and that worked for me. Try it out and see if it helps you.

I turned off pdc, but didn't make any difference, I can still get the plugs to go out of sync just by changing the tempo.

added note: the midi note triggering the sequencer has to be an endless note or a several bars long for this sync problem to arise.

It's not a problem for me with vsti drum machines, because I use 1 bar long notes, but with synth sequencers, I often want to use endless midi notes - this is when it all goes horribly wrong!

yeah, it is frustrating, I keep having to stop ableton's sequencer and restart to get everything back in time. I'm playing a gig in a weeks time and I can't keep stopping and starting!!!

also this problem since 7.0.1

i'm using many vst plugin (like GURU, Massive and FM8) and can't switch the external sync expect in Massive

it's very frustrating, can't producing normally
please fix it
