I was wondering if it possible to share one computer’s ASIO interface with connecting a second computer using Ethernet connectivity.

http://www.cockos.com/reaper/

it's shareware (i think...) and i'm pretty sure it'll send from reaper to reaper using rewire to get to and from live. wormholes free and a vst that sends audio over lan. i think technically you can also do this using OSC but i don't know for sure. try reaper and wormhole and let us know how it goes.

i don't think theres any way that you'll have someone actually see your soundcard over a network, but you can definitely send several audio channels over LAN...

also, these probably won't work too well over a wireless network, but should have enough bandwidth for reasonable latency over a LAN cable. if you get really adventurous you can convert midi to OSC using plogue or vvvv and send it over the network as well...
