I've been having this problem recently on my 10.5.2 Mac. When I try to select "Save As" from the file menu, I get the beachball for a few seconds, and then Live crashes. The Save dialog box never shows. Although I can "recover' my work when I try to reenter Live, I get the same problem if I try to Save As.

This does not happen on my PC.

Any thoughts?

(user/library/logs/crash-reporter/liveXXXXcrash and your log txt (user/library/preferences/ableton/live 7.0.2).

Not sure if it's related, but on 7.0.3 (PC) I'm getting strange file errors (also on saving of the preferences or config file) too.

I'm not sure if it's Live or something else though.

So far it only seems to happen after I've left the PC for a while...

that sound like a different problem. Please contact [email protected] with your log.txt file included. You can find it in Live´s preferences folder. In order to open the folder, please click on "Get support" in Live´s help menu. In help view, click on the link "Show preferences folder". Please attach the log.txt to your mail.

I just tried the same thing with 7.0.3 and there appears to be no problem. I could be a fluke, since it wasn't always reproducible in 7.0.2.

I'll check again in 7.0.2 and forward the log results to the support email.
