Latency when routing Send outputs to Audio tracks?

I looked around for any prier posts but came up nil.

If you route a send output to a audio track the return will no longer be time aligned. Why is this?
I record mix stems of all my audio busses for remix/archive needs. For audio tracks it works as expected (great).
But for sends it's a latency mess. :?: :?: :?:

(one way this wouldn't be an issue)
What would be really nice would be to have selectable multitrack rendering. currently it is All or one at a time. I only need my Buss outputs. So currently Live has to record back into itself. I'm fine with that actually but this dosen't work flawlessly do to this issue.

Well the best solution for this on a windows box is the Live/Reaper Combo. With ReaRoute you can record whatever tracks you want into reaper. Then mix away. I wanted to do this a all in Live but no go..

yeah i noticed this the other day as well, very annoying.

Suppose you could use track delay to sync them but you shouldn't really have to do that.
