Ableton Forum

I have decided to buy a new iMac G5 to replace my music PC. I want to run Ableton on the iMac G5 (leopard) and also my G4 Powerbook (Tiger) for on the move and gigs.

I am not a heavy studio user I mainly use ableton to make re-edits and mashups for my DJ sets so I may even just opt for the LE software to get me going.

I have a few of questions I was hoping users could answer :

1. Does the ableton licence allow 2 installations (laptop/desktop) ?

2. Will there be any problems running it on the 2 different OS ?

3. What USB/Firewire card that I could use on both Mac's would people recommend for up to £200, 2 outputs for DJ use in future would be good.
