DR1 Dr. Drone 0.2 Beta - Out Now!
This is a superb little VST for analogue sounding electro bass, leads and FX.
Check out the movie of the DR1 in Ableton Live and download the free demo from the website!

Hey man,
Not trying to be a jerk but your site is a bit of a pain.
1. You don't specify mac or pc
2. Video is super slow to load. Youtube it.
Since you are selling your plugin (which sounds good) just wanted to give you feedback on how to make it better for potential customers.

thanks for the comments,
www.drdrone.com does need a little update, as little the menu bar is too obscure - the 'system' button on the menu bar tells you the DR1 is for Windows. I didn't know the movie was especially slow to load - its fast on my connection. you can also view it on youtube:

I would love to release a mac version, but i have to sell enough copies of the windows release first... otherwise i can't justify the time spent on porting it accross... i have to pay my rent (and keep two children in clothes).
Feedback I've had from users has been great though, including IMs from The Black Dog, who say it sounds amazing.

I'm not sure if I like it or not, the low pass filter sounds good in the video though.

Looks like fun - if it's for electro bass & leads, why is it called "Drone" though? Not trying to be confrontational - Just had to ask, though, because "drone" and "electro" are very far apart from each other in my book
Gonna download it tomorrow, the video had some really cool sounds in it.

Actually it does make some wonderful sustained drones which drift in and out of phase rather like an old analogue synth with a key taped down, as well as more abstract/industrial FX type drones if you really play with the oscillator mods, filters etc. And besides, Dr Electro sounded a bit too much like a crap superhero

ps. try playing some of the presets by setting the 'hold' button on (this holds down the C3 (i think) note so you don't have to enter any midi notes into a sequencer just to get sound out . There are some quite atmospheric sustains and i'm sure you'll find more tweaking the controls, especially if you run it through a bit of reverb or ddly.
