Bug when I insert a mp3 file...

Hello,
I have a problem when I play a mp3 format in Ableton (my version is 7.0.1)
I have record the sound :

(I have tried a song with a wav format and It functions)
Someone have an answer?

Please post more information - not many people will download the file for you. E.g. what have you tried to solve this already? Is the problem happening during playback in Live or only after exporting? Have you tried on 7.03? All mp3 format or just this file? How about AAC? Any other useful info...

I hear this insufferable sound with all mp3 files...
But you can hear the file without download...
With the 7.0.3 version is the same problem...
I have tried to change the type of file (Wav and Aiff) in the options but nothing...

Are your mp3 playing right on other softs than Live? I guess not but maybe I'm wrong...
For what you say maybe your mp3 were encoded with a codec that cannot be read correctly by Live...
?
?
If they play allright on your mp3 player you can export 'em in .wav and at least you will be able to work with.

what i'm supposed to do?
If they play allright on your mp3 player you can export 'em in .wav and at least you will be able to work with.
-I have 18 Go of song, so is not a good solution

I could not listen top your file because I am unable to access the URL.
Please provide a little more infos on your computer/ operation system.
In case you use Windows: do you have Quicktime installed? If so: which version do you use?

I have bought ableton the last week,
And the problem appeared the first time that I have insert a mp3 file... I have did nothing before....
So It's for that I don't give a lot of information....
And I don't have quicktime,
I have to installe it?

I am not sure if installing the latest version of Quicktime solves the issue (not quite enough information), but it´s definitely worth a try. When Quicktime is installed, Live will use the it for decoding your MP3 files when you import them into Live. You can find the free installer here:
