Nudge tempo to pitch control wheel!

What do you think of a nudge tool? While djing you could bump ableton live into sync with the track you are playing. This would make it much easier to start a loop or sample ontime with a records that\'s playing.oh oh oh - even cooler ! Connect the pitch control wheel of a midi controller to a master nudge switch so you could slow and speed the track temporarily, then maybe assign the overall tempo to the modulation wheel.. You could assign varying degrees of sensitivity as well!
Is there a way to \"re-trigger\" a loop in live to sync it up with a record? all those buttons under \'launch mode\' in the sample view seem to do the same thing?
