Has anybody made a script to toggle quantitize on and off?

No script needed!
the manual wrote:28.17 Global Quantization

Sixteenth-Note Quantization Ctrl+6
Eighth-Note Quantization Ctrl+7
Quarter-Note Quantization Ctrl+8
1-Bar Quantization Ctrl+9
Quantization Off Ctrl+0
Of course that's not very intuitive - if you want to remap these with Autohotkey just write e.g. ^1::^9 (remap Ctrl+1 to Ctrl+9 so that it sends this every time you press it - repeat for each one you wanna remap.

Ideal would be

Code: Select all

^1::^9
^4::^8
^8::^7

Good point. That can actually be done by automating Alt+e (!e in AHK speak) and then a few keypresses. I'll see what I can do with these but it might be a good while before I get around to it.

This is what I came up with. I am sure someone will do better.
Ableton already has a shortcut for Edit with Ctrl -E. than run two .ahk instances.

One that says
!w::Click 172,535

The other that says
!q::Click 464,643,2.

Then when you press ctrl E and hold ctrl then press w, then q. It will auto go to 16th. Or you could stop at the w and use the up down arrows or find new coordinates for each.
