On stage, 1 big set fusing all projects or....

I continue on my way of knowledge by asking about the actual set we'll use on stage. Should we fuse all our songs together (can my Mac handle this?) or should we play a sample with another Mac using Live as I load each new projects right after a song? If we were to fuse all the songs in one all I'd need to do is fix the tempi for each song right? Damn it I live that software but man is it a whole ew world or what?

Whenever I do any form of live performance, normally I run the whole thing off one ableton project. Normally, I'll load up mostly MIDI data going to the outboard synths, so it doesn't tax the CPU too much. Also then I'll chop up assorted audio bits from tracks so i can jump around a bit, if i want to. Also i tend route most effect to external hardware (via the lexicon PCM 80 synced up w/MIDI). Normally I only have 3 or 4 live racks of effects set up in the session. Also, running a majority of MIDI lets me tweeks synths more live on stage, instead of hovering over my laptop the entire time.
