Hi all,
I'm trying to find out how to split a kick drum track into 2 different tracks, one with the ~80Hz freqs and the other with the rest of the kick frequencies.
I've got the Four Band Frequency Divider that was recommended on this forum recently, would that be the tool I need?
If not, can anyone recommend how to achieve in Ableton 7.
Thanks
J

Create an audio effect rack.
Drop an eq8 on the first chain.
Set a band as a low pass at 80hz.
On a second chain, another eq8, high pass, 80hz.

Set up a track wit the kick and the 4band , then set up two empty audio tracks.
In the Input chooser of the first empty audio track choose the output of "LowOutput" chain.
Same for the 2nd empty tarack except choose LowMid.
Adjust the cut off points of Low and LowMid in the 4band splitter to taste so tht you get what you want in each track.
