Amigo's, I've always liked the dub step sound but never really sought it out. Don't have any mixes 'cept for the hittin one my friend suburbanbather gave to me some time ago. (summer 2006 mix by excision)

Been listening to Dubstep.fm the last couple day's and am digging it in a new way.

please link me to your favorite dubstep mixes.

The dark, gritty, rasta sounding shit that makes you want to throw a tec 9 up under the seat and go take off an armored car is preferred. but anything smooth and dope would be appreciated.

tanks and praise

So far as I know it's kind of a grey area, but generally is ok so long as it is used for promotional purposes only, not to be sold. Once you start selling them is when you have to get licensing for all of the tracks.

Again, think it's a grey area, but that's what I've always known from my (past) involvement in my local DJ scene.

There's this: http://www.dubstepforum.com/

As far as free downloads go dubstep seems to be mostly mixes.
The scene is based around a lot of singles/dubplates so far.

+1 for Boxcutter being the shit.
Also Benga, Distance, Skream, Bass Clef, MRK1. Just to name a few dubstep artist who have put out good full length albums.
And some guy calling himself Burial *cough cough*.

Thanks for the mnml.nl link btw. Hadn't seen that one before. Looks nice.

spackeled bat just beat me to recommending dubstepforum.com!
and yeah, surgeon (of minimal techno fame) plays a lot of dubstep in his sets these days. plus neil landstrumm is tweaking his techno in a very dubstep direction also.
