Dears,
I’m a registered user of Albeton 7.

I’m running the latest 7.0.3 on a mac book pro 2.5ghz with Leopard 1.5

I have MADUIO FIREWIRE 410 soundcard and a Remote SL installed.

I have the following issue: When I use some soft synth not from Ableton (lot of times with MASSIVE and PREDATOM from Rob Papen) the application start crash repeatedly making impossible to work. It usually happen once I close the song and want to rework on it. I mean.. the first time I write a song it works perfectly… all the synths without problem… but once I reopen it it crash after few second… contiously….

It sems that This version of Ableton is not stable with external VST instruments!!! Is impossible!

Please help.

Are you using the latest version of Massive (1.1.3) and Predator (1.10b)?

only with ableton i have issues.

I haven't heard about any issues with Massive like that (and I'm the Massive forum moderator at NI). Make sure you're running the latest version.

The Predator issue sounds like one I've heard of with Leopard.

Redownloading and running the 1.10b update fixes it as far as I know.

If you're running the latest versions and still seeing that, I'd trash Live's preferences.cfg.

Before you restart Live to create the new preferences, run Massive in standalone and rebuild its database.

Are you using 5.1.5? Did you run it in standalone? Are the paths to factory and user libraries set correctly in Reaktor's preferences?

i'm having this problem with atmosphere and trilogy. when i try to open songs with those audio units in them, live says they arent compatible and then crashes.

Atmosphere and Trilogy aren't UB- you'll have to wait till Omnisphere's release to have a true UB plugin.

They do have a quasi-solution available from their website; it's essentially a Rosetta minihost for them that runs as a UB plugin.

i'm on a g4 ibook which i just installed leopard. i should have made sure atmosphere ran on leopard. i'm able to get atmosphere to work once live is opened, but if its already in the song i'm trying to open i get the compatibility message and crash
