since beta time...
I was outraged when they actually released v7 without fixing it for v6...
I bought v7 believing they would address it ASAP...
(and because of the early bird's upgrade discount)
I am disappointed and frustrated...
I am trying to work on a track . having to stop play everytime it loops.

I totally went though this. Finally I decided to do a total reinstall (wiped the hard drive clean) and see if something I installed screwed up the MIDI out. Live 6 always worked but 7 never worked well. I could get MIDI out if I chose DirectMusic as the type of MIDI port, but then Live would behave really badly. When I switched back to MME the ports went orange letting me know some other application was using them. (nothing else was running)
I never really figured it out but I'm going to slowly build my system back and make sure I pay attention to when it stops working.

Any one actually solved the issue of syncing MIDI gear when Live loops?
I get a fixed delay amount which is added at the beginning of each loop turning point;
this results in an accumulation of the error which is more than annoying for any kind of use.
Best when Live is slave to something, but still...

Jabbon, would you mind posting your reproducing steps and system specs in the
thread mentioned above? this way ableton may have a better clue on where to look...

I also have to report that Pluggos are damaged (the plugmultiparam is not functioning correctly) since 7.0.3
