Can any one tell me if it is possible to use the same midi in device in both Bomes midi translator classic and Ableton. Ideally I would like some midi signals translated to key strokes and I would like some to stay midi?

If I set both applications to listen to the same midi device bomes says I have to wait for the device to become free.

The way I do this is to have all the MIDI come into Live initially, then I get Live to send some of this MIDI data out again using MIDI Yoke. More details in this post: http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=90046
