Id say load up a couple samplers in a rack, one forward and one with the sample reversed. Then set a knob or something to the Pitch env and the chain selector...tweak away. You coul also load up a bunch more sampler chains and change hem all slightly or drastically, then sweeps through the chains...

i guess i could set up two samplers and have one forward and one reverse and fade back and forth betwixt them. but if i do that i lose the cool effect of the sample reversing from where it currently is. instead ill just get some random part o the sample. oh well i guess its worth messing around with unless someone else has a suggestion.

I always thought that 'everything in it's right place' was just scrubbing the vocals in protools or something?

if I had to recreate something like that in Live, I would probably look at the tapestop plug, and do a lot of slowing, copying , reversing, chopping , splicing..

??

or buy a program with better scrubbing capability

or, tune in to all these threads recently about "scratching" in clips...
