Tempo issue when running rewire with Reason 4?

Hello,

I'm running in to a a problem when running Ableton Live as a ReWire master to Reason 4. Occasionally (and consistantly) as I'm entering notes on my midi controller (Novation ReMote SL Compact), both applications will drop to the minumum BPM. I can't reproduce the problem using the same controller when running ONLY Live 7.0.3 or Reason 4 (both work just fine), only when they are rewired. Additionally, I have checked to make sure the USB midi controller isn't sending any BPM information out that could be causing the issue.

I could be missing something really simple or obvious and I just haven't tried it yet. I'd love to run Reason 4 rewired to Live, but this issue is making it impossible. If you have any suggestions, please post! I can post a screenshot of the configuration of the audio settings for the ReMote SL in Live if that would help, but it -should- be set up properly.

Any help appreciated

I'm still having this issue.. does anyone have any ideas of where to start looking for the problem?

I use a Lexicon Lambda external sound card which has it's own MIDI drivers so I was trying to figure out if it was a problem caused by driver conflicts with the Lambda and the Novation ReMOTE SL.. but I'm not really sure how to debug that.

Running on Vista 32 if that is a consideration too.

Would love to make more use of Live but without functional rewire with Reason, I would have a hard time getting the most out of my experience.

Have I got anything configured incorrectly here?

Please help!

I'm having the same problem here. I get all sorts of BPM variations (from 0 to more than 8000!) when certain midi notes are sent to Reason. This makes Reason completely unusable with Live for me.

I'm not running Vista but I am using a Remote Sl Compact - I wonder if that's the problem?
