When is Novation going to make a new synth?

What the title says, but I think they could make a monster. It would be cool if they made one that felt like the K-stations and Nova's. Also Novation already does audio/midi transfer via usb so it just seems to make sense that they come out with another super synth.

Just daydreaming, but what do you guys think? Do you think they will build some more synths or VST's?

i remember years ago (when v.station was out)
fm or cm wishing for a soft supernova

they never really did anything more on hard synths besides the x-station and the xio

the just focus development expecially on controllers, even the audio card dep seems to be less active (early speedio user here...)

but like you said they have some true expertise in hardware and computer usb audio and midi (some could prob say they do not have any track record regarding fulfilling all their promises, the automaps have revealed to be problematic for more than a few...)
so a hardware box with good synth power, intelligent and flexible control layout (unlike the xio and probably using the new led ring encoders from the nocturn but with screen !),
that could run (and preferably include) any patch from their hard synths (meaning it would also include the soft ones, the supernovas and the ks synths
this could be interesting...

something like the origin but cheaper in true novation style (like the xio vs virus ti loollll)

yeah the xio is nice and it sounds really good actually. unfortunately the interface was horrid, a vst editor would go nice with it. I would even go as far to say that it holds its own up to some of the top vst's. I used to have a k-station also and that thing was pretty cool, the filter had a cool character to it that I liked.

It would be the shit though if they made like 700-1000 dollar synth that did the T.I. like access. Maybe add a couple different synthesis types, better FM than the K/X series. Through in some wavetable and a butt ton more waves for subtractive shit and a wicked matrix for modulation and be set.
