I went private and got 2 taken out at once. General Anesthetic. They said I talked all the way through the operation. I spat blood all over myself, and the dentist and nurses!!!
I fucking hate dentists.

Seriously, get rid of them.
I had 2+ years of completely un-necessary pain & sleepless nights. The amount of painkillers i was doing cannot be good for the liver.
Such a relief to finally have them removed. It took around 20 mins and although i was awake the entire time it was painless.

Yank 'em. I've been to the dentist so many times for this type thing that the shots don't even phase me and I could probably give myself the shots. Or maybe I just like the rush. EXTREME!!
Plus getting rid of the constant pain way outweighs whatever girlie fear you might have of the dentist. I've heard of people blowing their heads off from how much tooth pain they have and I've been there, just don't own a gun.

I had one that needed to be chiselled (sp?) in half before coming out... under local anaesthesia. The sound of splinters and chisel and drill resonating in my jawbone is still quite... vivid

get'em yanked and then listen very carefully when they tell you how to avoid dry socket. You'll look like a chipmunk for a few days but its worth it.

Don't listen to these sissies - live with the pain, it'll build character and you'll probably get several albums worth of tracks out of the suffering.

i definitely want to yank them out, but the timing is just horrible.
Got a lot of work to take care of this week. dont think i'll be able to squeeze in the tooth removal until maybe the week after.
I actually had to get a molar removed some years ago (about 7, give or take). Broke it chewing ice (bad habit), and the pain was so brutal i had to visit a dentist the day after. Then i got the news... either he'd have to tinker with it over a number of visits to get it fixed or he could just pull it out right then and there and i could just forget about it for life.
I said "fuck that, just pull it out. i'd rather get it over with today than have to come back to this godforsaken place... no offense"
it was quick, but still a cringeworthy experience.
i hate dentists
