I'm pretty sure this has happened with more than Rez, but right now that one's the problem ..

I wrote something in Rez, and it was playing fine every time I loaded the file, until today .. now, all the other clips work but every time I play the rez clip the cpu usage jumps to 70%, back down to 20%, up to 50%, etc.. pretty random jumps. And no sound comes out..

Any idea as to what is happening here?

just tried another file and it seems rez is not working anywhere .. thinking reinstalling might help?

Is your machine a Core2Duo or Quad? There's definitely spiking issues with SE plugs and the Intel multicores:

I do have a duocore. my drive's also very full.. i'm gonna deal with that and get back. I really hope that's not been it all along though
