Post by tricil » Mon May 12, 2008 5:14 pm

Greetings Atlanta Ableton Community,

We are pleased to announce this month's special guest: Mr. Richard Devine (Warp/Schematic/Sublight many more)

In short, Richard is a sound design guru, preset designer (including our own Operator synth), talented musician, and all around cool guy.

For more info: http://www.ableton.com/pages/artists/devine

Mr. Devine will be on hand to show how he uses Live 7 in his live sets as well as some other under the hood tricks.

The event is this Tuesday, May 13th at 7:30PM EST

SAE Institute of Technology
215 Peachtree Street
Suite 300 (enter on Andrew Young side near Lil Azio, look for the call box)
Atlanta GA 30303

Nice 1 guys!

I would have gladly taken the day off work from Charlotte had this been posted a little earlier.
If you all do more of these, can you post these a little earlier for the out of towners. (unless you have another site where I can check up on events ahead of time.)
From what I can tell you all are the closest user group to where I live.
Stuff I actually use.
sound card, speakers, mic, MBP, Mighty Mouse, Ableton, Reason, iPad, iPhone,Touchable, Rebirth, & other apps.
Pair of Technics 1200's, and a Pioneer Mixer

thanks much! looking forward to hearing about the next event.
Will you guys be recording this and posting it on the net?
I have been lucky enough to stumble across a couple of youtube videos like that from the RBMA.
It would be spot on for these types of sessions to be posted up on line for us blokes to see that don't live in a MAJOR city.

(Sorry if I offend anyone from Charlotte / NC areas. Yes we are the biggest city in NC, but we aren't the BIG city.)

hi fantastic news... will you guys be capturing this session in video for later playback? i'm afraid with such short notice i may not be ablet to attend although this would have been an INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY to be up close and personal with Richard. the guy is a massive tweak bot!
