Do you have two or more screens attached to your computer?

I'm not sure if we have had this poll before, but I was curious. Flat screens are now pretty cheap and commonplace enough that I would guess around 30% of Live users have 2 screens.

Let's see

I attach an extra display to my laptop sometimes.

It only really works for me when I clearly distinguish between primary and secondary display - like I'll keep all the apps I'm 'passively' using on the laptop display and what I'm trying to focus on on the LCD. It's better than minimising...

I don't think I'd like true dual screenering... too wide...

I'm not sure if that's a yes or a no, though.

Yes, I know what you mean about spanning an app across both screens.
I don't spread one window across both, the frames get in the way too much.
I separate my screens them by task, one has the 'main' window and the other does the secondary panels. So my second monitor currently has my to-do list software open, an IM window and a some floating windows from other apps.

In music use I often use screen 2 for my plugins, with Live on Screen 1.
If live could use both screens I would have session on screen 2 and Arrangement on screen 1

I want one - but I can't find a 17"/19" cheap enough yet to add to my lappy...

no, a 24" screen with a hi resolution in front of my face is enough.

I used to use dual screens when I was doing more CAD work. It was great to be able to arrange the various palletes or tool boxes to leave as much real estate on the main screen. Not at the moment though, I'm sharing my computor bits with my kids, along with my socks. Soon it will be my car keys...... Damn it!

yep, my 33" widescreen plasma is great, esp for rewiring and vst windows.

The poll is skewed - people with 2 screens are voting twice, once from each screen...

If you've got a laptop then you need a 2nd display, even if only for home use. You can get a 19" TFT for £100 (or a 24" for £200) which is a bargain for the extra screen space - especially if you've got a MacBook.

Its a pity Live doesn't support multiple displays, which would make things so much easier.
