Crossfader Midi Mapping Problem
Im trying to Midi Map the ableton crossfader to either a knob or a slider on my Novation SL. Problem is I am only getting on/off functionality out of the mapping which is completely useless for operating the crossfader. Any ideas as to how to get this working properly?

There are three slots to assign midi to on the cross fader.
On the left and right are cuts, and in the middle is the actual crossfader.
It sounds to me like you have assigned just the cuts, if so delete these midi assignments and assign the knob to just the one in the middle.
Plus if you right click on the crossfader you can change it's curve!

But it doesn't work indeed. Actually it works only in the User mode, but I would like to use it in normal mode
