any ideas. my cheap ass novation bit the dust

I've been using a Kenton control freak live gigging for a number of years, the only problem with it is that the pots have plastic spindles, would be better with metal spindles. The body is all metal and built like a tank, interface is flexible and really nice - but compared to the current flock of controllers (the only other option at the tim I bought it was really the evolution controller that is similar to it or peavey - not like the options there are nowadays - but I wouldn't buy anything plastic bodied.
