How to enable auto-preview for samples in rewire mode?

Post by gh82 » Wed May 28, 2008 8:38 pm

Hello all,

I use logic for producing but have started to incorporate live as quite frankly nothing handles samples quite like it. Anyway I have the two programs connected via a rewire bus and audio is being routed to an AUX channel in logic from a channel in live which is great. The only problem I have with this set-up is that the auto-preview feature for samples in live’s browser does not seem to work which is pretty annoying.

Can anyone shine a light on how to enable this auto-preview function or is this a limitation of the two programs when in rewire mode?

I am using the latest version of leopard and logic pro 8.

Many thanks

Finally worked out what the problem was:

In order to preview samples in the browser via rewire you must have the CUE set to the same rewire bus as the rest of the project. Obvious really!

Just thought id post for future reference...

did this ever get addressed? I have to click preview or right arrow when I move to a new sample. blue auto preview button is on.
