Which effects do you use when DJ-ing with Live?

Hi guys,

Since a lot of you are DJ-ing/producing with Live, including myself,

I was wondering:
- which effects do you use in your Live setup?
- which parameter(s) of the effect you use, you setup to trigger via your controller. (IMHO it's very important to tweak the right parameter since too much parameters to control live only distracts your attention and does not contribute to your goal: creating a great liveset)

I use:
-pingpong delay; parameter dry/wet and feedback
-beatrepeat: parameter grid, interval and gate
-bitreduction hard/soft

This info can be really inspiring and usefull, so don't hold back please!!!

Thanks in advance for replying!

Cheers Witlof

i like to put an auto filter on the master channel and then map the cut-off to a rotary knob. Filter sweeps are my personal fav.

delay on a bus channel, eq, redux followed by a filter grouped, dfx bufferoverride.

what exactly is a bus channel? I probably know but would like a definition.

no problem at all, thats what i thought you meant. Is a bus channel the same thing, or something different completely?

I took a quick glance, but my first impression is that these effects really rock. Indeed super luper is very strong. I have to experiment some more, but i.m def gonna use them...the single knob concept is really usefull and saves a lot of workspace in terms of controllers.
Thanks Tarekith,
Witlof

DFX offers great effects. How do you use the bufferoverride? One thing that sounds cool is the vocoder-effect kind of thing, but I think bufferoverride is easily overused, since it's effect is so enormous, in good hands it can be massive...
