Now that LIVE 4 supports MIDI and VSTi, is FREEZE in the plans? After completing a MIDI/VSTi track, it would be nice to FREEZE it and recover the CPU resources.

Hi

i think you don't need freeze since you can record all the VSTi's including all of their multiple outputs.
Freezing doesn't empty RAM which is in m.h.o. a disadvantage, but recording the VST's allows you to empty RAM and is therefor much more effective.
Also you can record all the VSTi's in one row which saves a lot of time.
Freezing (at least in Nuendo and Cubase SX) just gives you one VSTi at a time.

Just my two cents

Hope this helps

All the best
