I've uploaded a song up on my myspace page which has a little history behind it:
It was originally a song by my old band called Presence of Fagan about 8 years ago.
I was going to do a split with one of the old members which was going to be a science fiction concept album and this was going to be the finale. I don't think the split's going to happen but I finished the song anyway seeing as how I liked it and it would be a nice trip down memory lane for my friends.
The vocal melody was a bit beyond my singing ability so I decided to use a vocoder on all of the vocals to cover up those flat notes. The quality of the vocoder could be better (it was a free download), and I'm aware that it gets a bit tiresome (originally, only the backup vocals would be done with a vocoder), but I couldn't get any vocals I was happy with.
