Automatic chord & chord progression generators

Can anyone recommend an automatic chord & chord progression generator?
I've found one in this nice VST: http://www.improvisator.de/
However, it leaves some things to be desired. One that incorporates jazz chords/scales and even more scales would be great.
Ultimately, the best solution would be for DAW companies (are you listening Ableton?) to incorporate this type of functionality into their MIDI editor sections, but in the mean time a VST like this (but with more scales/chords) would be the next best thing
