Anger Management

Had a very therapeutic session today, and rediscovered the joys of the External Audio Effect - fed all sorts of weird noises through the Korg Stage Echo.

I got inspired by yesterdays Scientology picketings and let out some steam with this very slow and grindy track - mind yer cones!

(Reaktor, Analog, Drum Racks, Korg Stage Echo.)

you got it, mates.

for those who want to tinker/have a look around, here's the self-contained Live set.
http://wetterberg.dk/tracks/miniatures_project.rar - i quickly swapped the Reaktor track for audio. As an added bonus the drums are quite a decent drum rack, could quickly be stripped down for cooking up breakbeats and such.

-surely a better waste of time than teh interwebs.

Hi Andreas, trying to hear your stuff lead me into anger management situation..
When I want to hear you song the bloody QT page opens in firefox. I deleted all QT from Firefox plugin folder, unmarked file associations in QT, tried VLC and Windows media Player with no results. Any idea how to get rid of QT page opening in Firefox?

for some odd reason I am running danish firefox, but:

preferences:content(?):filetypes:manage
QT is the bossiest POS on the market - I can't believe ms got in trouble for their market dominance, when qt is just as bad as real player used to be, or worse!

if all else fails, right-click, save as. Hope this helps.

I listened in IE,- wicked.
I am surprised too about QT, it is worse then Real player was. Right now browsed all kind of pages, followed the instructions and nothing worked. Really weird that deleting in plugin folder didnt help. It means some hidden shit elsewhere. I wouldn't mind if it was at least usable but it is not.
This is interesting:
Says Mozilla:

The fix for MFSA 2007-23 was intended to prevent this type of attack but QuickTime calls the browser in an unexpected way that bypasses that fix. To protect Firefox users from this problem we have now eliminated the ability to run arbitrary script from the command-line. Other command-line options remain, however, and QuickTime Media-link files could still be used to annoy users with popup windows and dialogs until this issue is fixed in QuickTime.

This QuickTime issue appears to be the one described by CVE-2006-4965 but the fix Apple applied in QuickTime 7.1.5 does not prevent this version of the problem.

Gran Paradiso Alpha 8 does not contain the fix for this vulnerability.

that's very weird, because I found handling this problem quite easy: Just set firefox to not use quicktime for mp3s. That doesn't work on your system?
