Tape Stop?

I'm pretty new to Live, but I was wondering if there's a way to create a tape stop sort of effect--that is, quickly slowing down the tempo (preferably with a single knob or something), then releasing it back to the original tempo you started from. I'd like to be able to do this without having to turn the tempo back up to speed manually. Does this make sense?

Try using the pitch-bend wheel on a MIDI keyboard. As it snaps back to the middle position (64), so is perfect for those tapey-slow-down effects. Map it to the master tempo in Live...
