Having a bit of trouble with the Ableton Drum Machines.
Bought Drum Machines, downloaded and installed each of the packs.
Most of the stuff works fine. The 606 for example is working perfectly.
You can drag a whole kit to a new midi file and all the sounds work correctly.
However, I'm having difficulty with the 909 and some of the others.
The problem is that there is no sound at all from the 909 kicks (until you adjust the tune parameter) which i don't understand, and a number of the snares don't seem to work either - I can't seem to find a parameter that corrects this.
I'm used to just dropping my own samples into the drum racks but decided to give drum machines a whirl anyway.
There is no note at the bottom of Live to say there are missing samples but i can't seem to figure out why I'm not getting any juice from some of the sounds.

Hmm, I can't help you on this, but I just got Ableton 7 5 days ago and NONE of my drum racks and instrument rack sounds work. At all. They did the other day. I dunno what's going on. Everything suddenly seems to have vanished.

I ended up conacting Ableton support directly - they recommended I try reinstalling the drum machines. Which didn't work at first.
But - on the third attempt - everything worked perfectly!
Your problem sounds a little more serious - I would recommend completely uninstalling Live - rebooting your machine - and reinstalling it again - usually sorts out any anomolies.
