Ableton Forum

Does anyone here use a MV or MPC with Ableton Live?

If so,How is this set up?

My Interface does not have midi,So Im guessing I could use something like the M-Audio midi sport or uno.


I plan on buying an MV-8800 in the next few months,Im just trying to sort out all the little things before hand.

How about connecting via USB?

It goes into slave mode in USB.

It only allows you to transfer files from the MPC or MV to your computer or vice versa.

I think I might just email technical support.

Yea,email tech support because its a million times faster than using this forum.

you need a usb midi interface. That is all. Setup==plug it in.

midi sport is a good one. Oh and google around for midi interfaces. It's a million times faster than being snide on the ableton forum.
