adding different variations (files) from 1 project together

I have this question for a long time.
When I'm makin music I'm constantly changing parameter from sends, fx, addings things, etc.... and when I have something nice I save it.
Now I have all these variations (files) I want to put together. I already figured out I can just drag .als files into a live set but then they become new tracks. I can drag them on the same track in session view but then the parameters don't change...
I want to import those parameter changes too, so I can add different variantions together.
maybe my explanation is a bit unclear but I hope you'll get my problem

Read up on "Live Clips"
you should be able to do this without much problem.
I think you will have to create .alc files with each .als you want to pull from.
?

thanx for your help. I've been searching on the forum for 'live clips' and 'alc file' but what do you mean exactly? I think I'm not using the seach function right. gonna look it up in the manual. How would you do this if it should be able to do without much problem? thanx

I'm reading about those live clips and alc files in the manual and a whole new world is opening for me :p never used it before. Still not really understanding the whole text about live clips in the manual.
I tried to make live clips from a midi track with an operator and some effects on it. I made different live clips from some variations but when I add the clips on the same track and switch between them the fx, sends parameters etc don't change, if you know what I mean

hmm.
I'll try to do some more checking.
I had done a quick test with just a single device on a track. the device did change parameters between different Live Clips.
I did not check the track sends.
I know that some track related things seem to be in the domain of .als files only, not .alc or .adv/g. but I'm not sure if that is at play in this case.
anyway, if you can get the devices off the sends and actually use them on the track itself, that should work fine, right?

I also did a test with one device on a track but the parameters didn't change... Maybe I did it wrong. Where did you set your parameters? is it in the clip view envelope or on the device itself..
I don't know what you mean with the 'track related things seem to be in the domain of .als files only, not .alc or .adv/g' and 'get the devices off the sends and actually use them on the track itself'
thanx for your help

Send levels are not saved with a live clip.
