I try to open the app, the splash screen comes up. it shows the progress in the bottom left corner. but then it freezes and stops responding when it comes to "scanning custom vsts"
i'm using an iMac g5 with the latest Mac OSX. 10.5.4
also. when it was working yesterday, certain plugins didn't show up in the finder. yet others in that very same vst folder were.
any help would be great....thanks.

For the freezing issue, trash Live's preferences.cfg. This might fix the other issue as well.

i can't seem to find the preferences folder.

sorry...i found the preferences file....thanks again

the app works almost fine now. even though Live is reading from the folder that all the vsts are in, it's only reading two. not my Legacy bundle.
they're appearing in the window as AUs not VSTs
