Hi, I don't know about "Session Drums" but "Superior 2" is
great and if your a drummer like me, it's a dream come true.
Great sound and touch when triggered by edrums.
It's the real deal.

Well.....what. I don't have session drums so I can't compare. I don't plan on buying Session Drums (why bother when I have Superior).
I've had DFHS (v1.6) and now Superior 2. Superior 2 is a much better interface than the older version (for those that don't want to mix and process their drums or those that like a pretty drumset) but the new 'kit' is less than the old one. The old sample set was huge (something like 35 mb) and I find myself going to the old samples. The NY kit is smaller sample set. It was a great deal to upgrade for only $110 (discount).

I have superior 1, I wish I had 2...
The new instrument app contains everything and makes it less of a pain in the ass.
Superior is just like mixing a real kit.
It also takes like 6 hours to install. ug.
