thank you, there are quite a few custom patches i've made on the korg R3 being used in these tracks as well as some tambres from my mc-303 that i have sequenced and "twiddled with" using clip actions in session view. i also very much enjoy creating my synths from the ground up using instrument racks filled with altered simpler components and plugins/fx.

wow, thank you. i usually use 2 or three tracks for oneshot audio sample type "stuff". 3 or 4 tracks of loops i've made via hardsynths. 2 or 3 midi synths and an impulse rack that has it's slots routed to 8 seperate audio channels, then those into a "master" drum channel so that i am able to apply fx individually or to all at once. (no live 7 yet to do this for me:(

never thought of that way to arrange the drumsection, definetly needs a try! :O one question though, how do u send the different slots in impulse to different channels?

its all in the in/out section of the mixer. set up 8 blank audio channels and set them all to monitor and to receive their input from that impulse midi channel. in the second input dropbox, set the 8 tracks to get their input from the respective impulse slots. last step is to route all 8 audio channels to a 9th audio channel so that u are still able to alter all of the drums at once (because routing into the audio channels "steals" the audio in the impulse channel) i keep this saved in my template. only having to do it once is great. Maz.
