Sync Live 7 and waldorf blofeld

Anyone can sync ableton live 7.0.7 and waldorf blofeld because i can't and some people says they can.Can anyone help with it?
When i put a midi note and send it to a arp preset of the blofeld can't sync anytime.
Sorry for my bad level of english guys.

Have you tried to set the Arp Timing to "ext" in the blofeld? I don´t have one, but with many synths I already used I had to do this in order to sync to an external signal...

yes of course i do it but doesn't works with arp presets at the second chance of the midi clip it doesn't work fine.

You'll have to set the correct midi out to "sync" in abletons preferences. Otherwise ableton won't send a sync signal.
In spite of that, my blofeld kinda drifts in timing when I try to sync with live.

Found the answwer to this; set the port type of your midi output to MME instead of directsound.
