Hi all, I've got a few tracks online if you fancy a listen. 'In yer box' was made entirely in live, the other two are a mix of reason and live.

I'd love to know what you think.

I guess no replies means nobody digs it! Fair enough.

Would still appreciate some criticism. I can take it!

Not at all mate, just that people look in and often don't comment unless you comment on their stuff. That's how it works around here, or you have to give some shocking title that draws people in, like 'Sampled Donkey f***ing music' or something :)

OK I bite - In yer box -sounds very midrangey, could be Myspace's music processing, I like the pads that flit in and the old arps and cr78 sounding drums. A litttle more variation in the spoken word sample would benefit.

Drink - fun little tune, like the jazzy acoustic bass and guitar and the vocals, very spacey and cool. Nice guitar sounds. Yes, I likey. :) The mix quality is a lot clearer too.

Stone - has a cool psychedelic loop, nice bongos. Different, not your typical stuff to be found on this forum, good work.

Now, if you are feeling generous, you could either download my free EP and comment on this thread

or, if you just want to hear an excerpt from it for streaming, this thread

 no pressure !!

and notice, the majority of posts here have 0 or 1, the odd well known guy like polyslax gets a handful. So don't take it personal. If you want more comments you could post in the general section, which usually works, but you will piss off a lot of people for promoting there too.

thanks for the comments, i'll try and get some bass down on that first track.

You're right, I should be leaving more comments on other people's music too, otherwise how can I expect people to do the same for me.

It's all about etiquette, I'm all for that.

I'm at work at the mo, but gonna check out your stuff later.

Thanks again.
