Le Crunch is all about the big room sound....

It’s where leading edge mixing techniques and blisteringly new software melt with real instruments, quirky percussion and organic vocals into a two headed monster of the best production techniques from ‘now’ and ‘then.’

It’s dynamic, shifting, twisting grooves battling with gritty techno; analogue rushes racing against soaring guitars; water-tight drum lines flooding cinematic soundscapes. It’s a stand-off between old and new in an audio-orgy of undulating rhythms and simple funk that will lure the primitive dancing beast out of every being it washes over.

It's producing tracks that can rock crowds of thousands at al fresco festivals, in cavernous arenas and in awesome amphitheatres here, there and anywhere. It’s not knowing what the fuck a genre is; tribal here, proggy there, Detroit maximal in places, Berlin minimal in others.

It’s simple ideas and effortless rhythms in high definition; it’s widescreen, it’s brought to you in surround sound. It's music for a worldwide party and to feed the global dance culture frenzy we’re all involved in.

Producers Timo Garcia and Leo Trax have the know-how to engineer dance floor destruction on a grand scale...both hail from Chesham in Buckinghamshire:

A normal suburban town at the end of London's Met tube line which had far more than its fair share of ravers and acid house mayhem back in the day.

Both guys now own separate studios in London and with more than 20 years combined experience of DJ ing around the world; they have carefully nurtured an innate sixth sense. They know exactly which tracks do it for whom, when and why.

Leo had a top 40 hit with his first ever production back in '94 and was a founder member of dance act Chicane, penning chill out classic ‘Offshore’ which has featured on over 150 compilations to date. His remix credits include Dido, X-press2 Everything but the Girl, Basement Jaxx, Badly Drawn Boy and Underworld and he had a top 10 hit and Miami Buzz number 1 with his mix of Lou Reed & David Bowie's ‘Satellite of Love’ back in 2004.

Other career highlights include work with Phil Mison for Sunday Best and forming psychedelic rock band A Mountain Of One in 2005. AMO1 have been at the forefront of the current balearic/cosmic revival with a full eight piece band selling out tours of Europe and Japan. He's currently working on music scores for Nike, Bloomberg and Saatchi Advertising with his music for media company, Thinksound.

Timo Garcia is one of the most successful of the new breed of DJs on the circuit in 2008. He's been ticking off the boxes on his way to becoming a global star with signings and support from all the house heavyweights Including CR2 and Toolroom in the UK, and residencies in Brazil and Russia
Having cut his teeth in Leeds and Manchester in the early 90’s at erudite music boxes like The Warehouse, The Music Factory and The Faversham at the enviable age of 21. Then championing a proto French house sound, the vocoded a cappelas and filtered sonics lacing his sets were nods to a previous sojourn as resident in Paris, where he spun with 4/4 peers like Thomas Bangalter (aka Daft Punk) and Eric Rug. Keeping on his toes and absorbing innumerate influences on the way, he then split to London in ’05 and to the head of the table at his own imprint: Berwick Street Records.
