Marker-to-Clip functions

Markers are cool, but could be more powerful, and help out with workflow operations:

If you've got a bunch of Markers on the arrange view, then you select a bunch of clips on a track it'd be a huge workflow saver for me to be able to at least do the following functions:

Split Regions by Markers
Copy Marker Names to Clip Names

To take it a step further, I would like to be able to copy markers from one track to the next. As in all the markers in a sequence and all the names and edited text.

Lets say I completely created a kick ass formula using markers. Some existing arrangements aren't flowing properly, I can then copy those markers over to the session view of a new project.
