Project JW50 Converter

In the obscure days of 1994 there was a keyboard from Roland named JW50.
It sported a proprietary file format to save 16tracks sequencing data and controls on a 720Kb FDD. All over the internet it's impossible to find a JW50 to MIDI SMF TYPE 1or 0 converter. I can provide the Roland JW50 filez... :D

Project MIDI 2 Keystroke

Although many programs like this exist you can't find it open sourced or with a reasonable price.

MIDI Gestures

Use your MBP touchpad as a MIDI controller.
Fingers can control:

Tempo by Tapping 1 finger.
Play/Stop by Tapping with two fingers,
Scratch by tapping and stretching 3 fingers.
LFO & Filter the way they control zoom on pictures
Volume with vertical up&downs in defined zones(4 fingers, 4 channels at a time)
Sends with horizontal gestures (left-right)
A diagonal gesture increments the track number by four so you can control more than 4 tracks.

This could make you busy.... of course al for Mac OS X & Windows.

PS : Be kind to me, they're only ideas...

I'm more of a 'make a prototype' guy than a 'slave over it for the next 4 years' type of guy. Once I made what I wanted it stopped being interesting.

You want a 'new project'? Market your scratching project. Not much point creating something and leaving it. Enthusiasm is good but wisedom is even better :) Nothing to do with being 'a slave over it...'

(Might be moving it to Soundcloud when that goes properly live).
