VST States

Hi,

I would like to be able to save a VST state in a liveset.

Let me explain with an example:

I'm using Massive - my favourite synth right now. And I reach some sound that I really love, I save it as a preset. All fine and good, except I never load presets for some reason so they just hang around the back somewhere waiting for the golden age of preset-loading. I work more and I reach another sound I really like... fine and good. But! I want to use both sounds! - I want to use one sound for the first part, then switch to the other and let it play like that for a while. I might go about it by programming it all in the clip using envelopes, but that's just tedious and creativity-killing. So I'd much rather be able to have a clip "record" the state of the synth is in. A clip could have a "No state" where it just doesn't change the state when the clip fires - but if a clip has a state it should reprogram the synth.

Thanks!

And the program change, bank change fields are not enough (in each clip)?

when (if) the +128 parameter feature is implemented, i would like to be able to morph between presets. 8)
