Hi there. I am kinda getting the hang of Ableton now, My EQ'ing is shit, but I have only been using it for a couple of months now.

Please check out the first two tunes i made with Ableton (well theres about 5 on there).

'Just behind the left' loaded last night and 'Domain' was loaded a week or 2 ago.

feedback appreciated

I had the impression that the intro was kinda long on "Just behind the left"

I really like all your little fx sounds and depth!

Raise the fq on the sub @ 6:00 just a little higher maybe get it to vibrate a little more too :D

"Domain" The Bass might be just slightly to loud>? ..but again I love what your doing here! I like that 'shssss..pop' going on!!!!

Good Good stuff!

Thankyou very much.

My problem I'm having is EQ, bigtime, i have a half decent set up in my garage, i have the eq all set right on ableton then i run it through my roland cdx, I think i need to run it through a normal amp as the cdx has its own set of EQ.

I'll get the hang of it soon enough.

Maybe the bit rate converting might be an issue, and just mixing that baby just so too might help. I know I've mixed things too gotten use to how it sounds and then rendered it all out to finally realize shit ...that bass is just too much ..and then had to start all over again trying to settle it down with out looseing the feeling of it. Its work it really is. I'm still learning myself truly, but I think its something that if you do this over and over and over i get a little quicker with upholding and balancing things through time.

I had the impression your not new to production though!?

just pull up a specter graph and wing it! _____

No ,not new at it, i used to do it with hardware only, i started with a Roland jx305, which has sequencer etc in it, then moved to a korg karma, then only this yr started with Software. I hate using the software, its good for editing and using fresh sounds but getting the warmth and depth to a song is a complete nightmare. hard hard work.
