pad kontrol blues

I can't get my pad kontrol to play the proper cells in the drum rack to save my life:( and when I went to the covert ops website that download was missing...anyone wanna buy a brand new korg padkontrol? HELP PLEASE

I had this problem too, and here's what I figured out: It's supported as a control surface in Live 7 (wasn't in L6). Set it up as a control surface, put it on Scene 1 and you should be good to go, unless you re-programed scene 1...

have you tried making your own scenes with the editor librarian?
i set my 1st scene as navigation/transport control using tranzport scheme, but then scenes 2 - 5 are chromatic scales on 4 different octaves. that pretty covers drumrack for me.
what i havent yet manage to do is to set an instant mapping of the pads to the highlighted cells in drumrack, using the user scripts ....

I had this problem when running mine in Win XP. I found that updating the firmware made it work better (one of the bundled utilities does this). Also get the newest drivers off the Korg website, if you haven't already.

I've got mine set up as a control surface but the only benefits of that seem to be the top right hand knob controlling the master fader - is there more to it?
