My choise, the Devil's Rejects by Rob Zombie. WOW! That's IMO probably the greatest horror/slasher movie ever made. Great characters, great dialogue, great storyline and above all, the best ending ever! If Quentin Tarantino had directed Natural Born Killers, this is probably what it would've been like.. Immoral, some might say? Well, there's a moral to the story, but who gives a shit about morals if it's a movie that kicks you in the balls and you still love! It's hard for anyone to beat this one.
5 stars and two thumbs up! Watch it, you'll love it!

whoa whoa whoa Natural Born Killers has nothing in common with Devil's Rejects other than homicide. one's an homage to 1970s slasher flicks the other's a commentary on violence in the media.
like both of them although Oliver Stone is such a drama queen. his upcoming film on Bush will probably be about as interesting as any whiny Bush thread on this forum.

Mine would be another animated classic, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. That movie can instantly transform me into a kid again.

Yeah, but I said "if Quentin Tarantino had directed it..". Oliver Stone made Natural Born Killers into something Tarantino never intended it to be when he wrote the screenplay. However, I do like the Oliver Stone version too. Would like to see how Tarantino would've made it, though.

Most of the Studio Ghibli(sp?) movies are really great.

which was a preview in Grindhouse, could be very cool. liked Planet Terror, Death Trap was so-so. really liked the cheeseball 70s ads, born in 72 I was influenced by all that.
Persepolis - looks very interesting
heavy suggestions, tough to put one out there like those.
