Hello !

I made a "blog" in which you can access freely to my whole discog since 1998, with free download links (I guess some tracks / lives are missing about years 2001-2003, I'll put them soon)

:D http://www.monstrejumo.blogspot.com :D

you can access it also via my myspace page, where you can listen to some of my last tracks that are not accessible in the "blog" :
http://www.myspace.com/monstrejumo

Making this made me realize how my music evolved, and I should say involved...? :?

-the overall sound quality, song arrangements, synths and kits used are more and more better, "mastering" too... (I really worked hard and am still workin hard on this shit, thanks alot to ableton-forum)

BUT

-the overall "specificity", "personnality", "essence" or else, is loosing I guess. The most I get close to what I'm looking for... the less my music is really mine, vaguely sounding like X or Y... :?

(this particularly for my 2007 live set named "emotronic", that was a promo CD to send to clubs and labels, thing that I did not really dared to do ... )

My conclusion is that I should get back to my basics, that is, to say, EXPERIMENTATION, NON SENSE, UNORIENTATED FREE IMPROVISATION AND COMPOSITION. :P

I'll keep my lessons, my better sound, but I'm ready to give up my "wannabe" attitude.

Some of you to comment my feeling?

All critics are welcome,

best regards

Nice music man, not really my style (though your 2008 songs seem to be more house oriented) but I can appreciate the skill

thanks Kozak, yes my 2007-2008 stuff is more clubby, I have been influenced some times in minimal / hard minimal techno, but with fat synths like I love so much (mixes by Hang, Adam Horton...)

I'm just beginning a more "psychedelic-electro-heavy-mental-rock" side project, just to get some fresh creative air...

4/4 is becoming a kind of trap for me those times... I have to make a break, so I can come back to my last electro tunes taht I still have to mix and produce...

cheers :D
