Here is a synth I made using Synthedit.

here is accompanying documentation for it:

http://www.utenzil.com/vst/hohlraum_dox.rtf
http://www.utenzil.com/vst/vst_licenses.txt

Two oscillators with the typical assortment of standard waveforms, but which can be modified using various combinations of pulse modulation sources that can have many many waveforms via means of a splinewave editor. It is pretty good on the CPU, worked to optimize with containers etc. O-scope type displays show what's going on with the waveforms.

The idea is to come up with sounds and then save your patches as racks- it has no patch memory.

It is maybe kind of a 'poor man's Operator', actually, maybe even more like a poor man's dog's fleas' Operator.

[edit] darn. had a nice sounding thing called The Krapalon 6000. But it gets weird in the upper registers with a high filter resonance setting, so will need to fix that.

[edit edit] Seems to be fixed now... introducing the Krapalon 6000. Krapalon, because the upper registers mostly sound like krap. But, the lower are very thick.

These along with the previously posted U-Synth x4
http://www.utenzil.com/vst/u-synth-minus-x4.dll
which is kind of a metallic, resonant ambientish thingie, form the
Utenzil Mediocre Trifecta of Soft Synthesizers (UMTSS) which,
when put together in a rack, should not be taken lightly.

well, ok. Maybe a little lightly.

Nice little toy yo made :)

It produces good sounding noises and glitcles, perfect for some minimal tech. :P

I'd recommend to give some emphasys on producing weird nobody needs more traditional synths, there are just a ton of them out there, and bizarre synth are way more valuable :) . Pulse Mod is the key. good idea.

Maybe making also a GUI of it's own would make you plug a little more attractive.

I made this little loop in Live: if anyone uses it just let me know :)

ah yes, a sample, there should be a sample, lest there be cries of WAVs or STFU :D :

randomize will need some 3rd party whizzy things, but seems possible...

Nice demo!

Synthedit is underrated... it's not really good at thundering deep basslines, but if you want to make your own bleeps and bloops it's cool. Also way easier than reactor especially if you know how amodular synth works.

The standard SynthEdit knobs & sliders are SO ugly... they're starting to look kinda cool in a retro kinda way :D

hah that's funny, i was thinking that... "y'know, I will let it say the full word 'attack' in that dumb font because it's before-anyone-knew-what-envelopes-were retro" :) plus, using the defaults just screams out "i'm f'ing lazy!" :)
