Tweak Option about Toggling in any assignable parameter

Many MIDI footswitches just provide patches to be selected or are not bidirectional what makes it very difficult or impossible to their users to assign the pedals to toggle on/off devices in Ableton Live as activation of any plugin for instance!
Please give us the option to change toggle buttons into non-toggling buttons!
This is very important and shouldn't be difficult to change!
Please, please please! In the name of all of us which use foot controllers and are tired in stepping twice an any pedal.
We know that this is not Abletons fault but the fault of the foot controller developers, but isn't it the key to Abletons success to provide the best MIDI assignment system to all those weak programmed controllers out there? Please do something about the toggle buttons which only make sense in case the user got a bidirectional or cc-mode providing controller!
