Reducing volume on multiple tracks in a mix

I need to reduce volume on multiple tracks in a mix by the same amount in order to increase the relative volume of one track - the kick and snare needs to be louder, but is already at max volume. The trouble is, I've used automation throughout the mix to adjust the levels of some of the tracks, so any adjustment must also have a proportionate effect on these level changes too. Is there any way that I can do this (that doesn't involve me changing each level and automated level change individually)?

Hey.

Think the best way to do this would be putting an 'Utility' on each track and adjusting the gain setting of the utility. That way your automations will still effect the track but the overall volume is changed.

hope that makes sense and is of use.

I find automating the utility better, because then I can adjust the overall volume of the track from the faders. Same premise though...

Even easier just put 1 utility on the track you want louder pull down the masterfader and RAISE the volume with the utility. This not analogue and it doesn't make any difference where your faders are for how it sounds.
